Bridge Counselling - Counselling and Psychotherapy - East Sussex

Based in East Sussex, we cover all of the major towns and villages, such as Hailsham, Heathfield, Uckfield, Crowborough and as far as Eastbourne.

The counsellors are fully qualified therapists, experienced in many areas and are all members of the BACP (The British Association of counsellors and Psychotherapists). All counsellors follow an integrative approach drawing on many approaches including Person-centred, TA (a form of psychotherapy), Gestalt and CBT to name but a few.

By following an integrative approach the therapist is able to draw on many different approaches, skills and techniques always working in the best interest of the client.

As part of their continual personal development and working in the best interest of the client all counsellors receive regular supervision with a suitable qualified therapist. All participate in further learning suited to their individual requirements and areas of interest.

All of our consellors and therapists are based in East Sussex, but are available for consultations further afield.

home1Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego."

"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
